The Tampa Bay Lightning are set to reveal a new alternate jersey in the near future. However, pictures of the new sweaters have leaked online so we now know what they will look like.
New Lightning Alternate Jersey Leaks Online
Black alternate jerseys seem to be rather popular in the NHL these days. The Tampa Bay Lighting seem to be poised to join the growing number of teams sporting dark 3rd jerseys as a new image of their upcoming alternate jersey has leaked online.
This leak seems to be rather legitimate as the picture is taken inside what appears to be a Lightning merch store with the Jersey on the end of a rack likely containing other merchandise as well, if not more copies of the new sweater.
This Jersey also seems to lineup with a leaked image shared by the Icethetics X account in which we see the shoulder of a black jersey sporting a miniature version of the same logo seen on this new jersey.
All of this seems to indicate that the Lightning will officially unveil these jerseys sometime in the very near future. Notably, the Lighting play tomorrow, but they are on the road. Their next home game will be on the 9th as they host the LA Kings. Look for these jerseys to potentially make their debut then.
