This NHL insider has just revealed how Ken Holland is planning on fixing the Edmonton Oilers, and fans are not happy with his proposed plan.
Ken Holland Reportedly Wants to Bring Campbell Back As His Plan to Fix the Oilers
All eyes are on Ken Holland for how he plans on turning around the Oilers' season in what is likely his last as the Oilers' GM. Many are speculating what Holland will do for a trade, or what he plans on doing to potentially sign a free agent. However, Elliotte Friedman revealed that his plan is to bring back Jack Campbell.
Elliotte Friedman on Saturday Headlines says the Oilers granted Jack Campbell permission to bring in Manny Legace with him for a few days in the AHL. Legace was a former goaltender coach for CBJ. Campbell worked with Legace in the summer.
Friedman adds: "I still do believe that its [the Oiler's] first choice to have Campbell rejoin the team and improve his play."

Campbell is getting another opportunity here to prove that he is worth the contract he signed with the Oilers. They are in desperate need for everyone on the roster to turn their game around, however, improving in net would help the Oilers significantly.
Fans Not Happy With Ken Holland's Strategy to Rely on Campbell For Turnaround
It turns out that fans do not approve when your strategy to fix a broken season is to do, well, nothing. Holland is essentially going on hope that Campbell can return to his previous form. Fans have taken notice, and they are not happy.
The Oilers are in crunch time, and it's clear that more heads will roll if things don't turn around quickly.
