NHLPA and NHL informing IOC on Olympic participation

The news has been out there for a few days, but it is expected the NHL and NHLPA will be informing the International Olympic Committee that NHL players will not be attending this years Olympic Games.
There has been more talk around other athletes wondering if they'll attend this years games and according to Frank Seravalli we could see the Olympics postponed a year similar to last year's Summer Games.
