Alex Ovechkin is known to be a star hockey player with a unique personality.
The Russian legend was one again in the headlines. This time, for legal reasons.
Ovechkin Makes the Headlines after Awkward Legal Request
In 2006, Ovechkin said something that marked the medias after he received a dangerous hit: "Russian Machine Never Breaks".
This sentence has been making rounds on the web for years. Some even used it for a domain name...
Now, Ovi wants to have this quote patented.
Alex Ovechkin has reportedly applied to patent the phrase "Russian Machine Never Breaks."
If approved, the famous saying cannot be used without his consent.
This seems a bit excessive, but if people make money from this quote, it doesn't seem so lunatic anymore.
