At the young age of 33, Subban made the tough decision to retire from hockey this past offseason and has now become a broadcaster.
He sits on a panel with two other hockey legends in Mark Messier and Chris Chelios, and it's entertaining to see how these great players from different eras see the game and how their opinions differ.
Subban was a great player, but he is an even better broadcaster, he was made for this career. Yesterday he made a funny post on his social media calling out his legendary co-workers.
Mark Messier was part of one of the greatest NHL teams of all time, winning the Stanley Cup with the Edmonton Oilers, where he won 5 Stanley Cups, and added another one while with the New York Rangers for a total of 6. His other partner, Chris Chelios has his name on the Stanley Cup 3 times, once with the Montreal Canadiens and twice with the Detroit Red Wings.
Subban on the other hand, never won a Stanley cup, the closest he came was in 2017 as a member of the Nashville Predators, where they lost in the finals to Pittsburgh in 6 games.
