One of the most beloved characters in hockey, Bergeron is sure to have his number 37 retired in Boston and will also surely be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Bergeron's Retirement Plan
Recently, Bergeron spoke on what he plans to do in the coming years now that he has retired from hockey.
«It's been an amazing ride, 20 years, but also hockey brings you a lot of pressure and stress.
So, it will be a nice change to just be able to be the Uber driver for the family for a little bit and just relax.» - Patrice Bergeron
Spending more time with family is one of the biggest reasons for retirement from hockey. Away from the spotlight, Bergeron will be able to spend time with those who cherish him the most and will finally get a well-deserved break.
