The Pittsburgh Penguins have had difficult start to their season. From COVID, to injuries to both star players Sidney Crosby and Malkin. The Penguins have managed to perform admirably as they're tied for 4th in the Metro with an 8-6-4 record.
The Penguins could really use some good news so I'm sure they were excited to see Evgeni Malkin back on the ice skating on his own.
Today Penguins' coach Mike Sullivan gave an update on the Pens center:
Although it sounds like Malkin is improving it still sounds like he's still a bit away from an NHL return. It'll be great to see Malkin back on the ice with the Pens and getting into some game action before the Beijing Olympics.
