During the 2nd period of the Flyers versus Panthers game, Panthers' Petteri Lindbohm delivered a crushing hit to Flyers' forward Scott Laughton. The hit sent Laughton flying into the boards and the force from the blow actually broke the built-in digital signage in the boards.
Laughton left the game and did not return. On the play Travis Konecny dropped the gloves with Lindbohm, both received fighting majors on the play.
After the game Flyers' coach, Mike Yeo, reported Laughton "wasn't doing great."
Hopefully Laughton can make a full and speedy recovery after this violent hit.
