A lot of teams are apparently interested in his services, but it's being reported that he was only interested in two teams. It came out yesterday that Kane would only waive his No Trade Clause to go to the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Rangers already made a trade for Vladimir Tarasenko, so that trade is most likely off the table, and the Toronto Maple Leafs just simply do not have the cap space to bring in Kane.
One of the teams that has a lot of interest in Kane though is the Edmonton Oilers, who desperately need to have some playoff success this season.
Frank Seravalli from DailyFaceoff.com, offered a mock-trade suggestion for the Oilers to land his services:
The Blackhawks are looking for prospects, picks and young roster players for Kane, and this trade gives them exactly what they need.
Bourgault is playing in the AHL this season and currently has 11 goals and 11 assists in his rookie year. We all know the situation that involves Jesse Puljujarvi and his tough time he has had in Edmonton, so a fresh start in a new city is needed for the former 4th overall pick.
What do you think of the trade?
