REPORT: Possible SUSPENSION incoming for Auston Matthews after dirty HEAD-CHECK
Is it just me or does it seem like the only time Auston Matthews delivers some physicality it ends up being something dirty?
We saw him a few weeks ago give Travis Konecny a few cross checks then refuse to answer the bell, not once but twice, then last season he decided it would be a good idea to cross-check Rasmus Dahlin in the back of the neck and tonight he delivered a pretty dangerous check to the head.
Tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs hosted the Buffalo Sabres in what turned into a 5-2 win for the Leafs.
During the second period, Leafs superstar Auston Matthews went to deliver a check to Sabres Casey Mittelstadt which caught him directly on the head sending him to the ice.

Matthews received a 2 minute penalty for the hit, but every head check is usually reviewed by the league and often results in some sort of suspension. But we have seen Player Safety give a little lee-way when it's a star player.
