REPORT: TERRIBLE news for the Colorado Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche are the defending Stanley Cup champions and believe they have the team to try to make it back to back.
The Avalanche this offseason lost a few key members from their cup run like Nazem Kadri, but they're hoping the development of some of their young players will be enough to fill in the gaps.
To start the year, the Avalanche are 2-1-0 with victories over the Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild, but losing to Kadri's new team the Calgary Flames.
While this team is loaded with skill, they will need to make due for the next 12 weeks without captain Gabriel Landeskog:
