REPORT: Team places forward they TRADED for on WAIVERS

With the season almost over, the excitement of this seasons waiver wire is quickly coming to an end.
We've seen some very high profile names hit the waiver wire this season. Some older veterans who used to be NHL stars in Nick Foligno and Wayne Simmonds. Quite a few first round picks, even some who were selected in the top 10, in Tyson Jost.
The highest drafted player we saw hit the waiver wire this year was Alex Galchenyuk, who is in the Colorado organization and was drafted 3rd overall back in 2012.
Today the Nashville Predators placed a player on waivers that they traded for last summer:
John Leonard (NASH) on waivers
Leonard was a 2018 6th round pick by the San Jose Sharks:
