We are all accustomed to seeing trades made in the NHL, where it usually never involves more than 2 picks, maybe 3 max, with a player or two added, but when we see trades made in the Canadian Hockey Leagues (OHL, WHL & QMJHL) the amount of players and prospects that get traded because a team wants that elite player for a run at the memorial cup is absolutely insane.
Yesterday the Kamloops Blazers and the Everett Silvertips made a trade, and well, it looks like Kamloops is going all in for the Memorial cup this season:
The Everett Silvertips traded Olen Zellweger and Ryan Hofer to the Kamloops Blazers for an insane haul.
To Kamloops:
Olen Zellweger and Ryan Hofer
To Silvertips:
Drew Englot
Kaden Hammell
Rylan Pearce
