Everyone has probably played in or seen a beer league hockey game before. There is always one person who tries way too hard, one person who is overly mouthy and atleast one person who is far too overly aggressive. At the end of the day it's meant for fun and no one who is playing in beer league has any reason to be being aggressive or doing anything dirty.
Unfortunately though, there is always someone who decides they need to try and 'impress the scouts' and land some massive hit, which is exactly what happens in this video.
Crazy stuff in a lower division men's league game in Coquitlam, BC. Player accidentally collided with another player and another player randomly decides to steam roll him with a huge cheap shot as "payback." Even worse, I was told the guy had 3 goals and 1 assist and was playing well below his level.. what a joke.
