It's been a busy week for Shane Wright. He won a gold medal Shane Wright and was then rewarded by the Seattle Kraken by being assigned back to the OHL. Wright was picked 4th overall in last summer's draft but has only played 8 NHL games this season.
Wright was demoted back to the Kingston Frontenacs Thursday, but won't play for the team. Instead Wright is expected to be traded before the OHL Trade Deadline.
According to Ken Campbell it appears the Knights will be the winners of the Shane Wright Sweepstakes.
Not confirmed, but I'm hearing Shane Wright to the London Knights for defenseman Oliver Bonk and six draft picks. Bonk turns 18 tomorrow. If this is true, Wright will have a great chance at winning a Memorial Cup during his final Juniors season.
