While the Maple Leafs may have been slowed a bit, forward William Nylander has been a consistent grinder, picking up at least one point in every game this season.
Nylander To Chicago?
With his hot start coupled with the 27-year-old coming to the end of a six-year contract with Toronto, many have started to predict on where he might land.
Over the weekend, ESPN's John Buccigross expressed a desire to see Nylander make a move to the Chicago Blackhawks in the offseason to play alongside Connor Bedard.
There is no doubt that Nylander will be a highly sought-after commodity when his contract expires, and Chicago will be looking to bulk up alongside their new young superstar in the making.
He signed a 6-year, $45 million deal prior to the 2018-19 season and has spent all nine of his NHL seasons with the Leafs, contributing 187 goals and 265 assists over 536 games.
