Rasmus Sandin Sends Top Draft Eligible Prospect to the Hospital in a Violent Scene
The Washington Capitals defenseman laid a huge hit on top 2023 draft prospect, David Reinbacher.
Sandin Injures Reinbacher With Massive Hip Check
In the World Championships earlier today, Austria went head to head with Sweden. One of the most closely followed storylines of the World Championships is the top draft prospects.
David Reinbacher, a consensus top 10 pick and the widely regarded top defenseman prospect in the 2023, went flying down the middle of the ice and attempted to split two Swedish defenseman.
This did not end favorably for Reinbacher as he went flying after a massive hip check from Rasmus Sandin.
It was reported that Reinbacher was headed to the hospital for a potential knee injury.
This injury could potentially knock him out of the top 10 and surely changes the draft plans for some teams picking in the 5-10 range.
