Rumour: Emerging Blockbuster Trade Between Jets and Rangers
New rumours have arisen that the Jets are getting closer to reaching a blockbuster trade deal with the New York Rangers.
New Home for Scheifele?
Mark Scheifele has been on the trade block this entire summer, and it now appears that the Jets are looking to potentially move him to New York. Rumours are spreading that the centreman could be dealt to the Rangers along with Jets defenceman Ville Heinola.
The deal would potentially see Rangers winger Filip Chytil, along with defenseman Braden Schneider come to the Jets in return.
Could it Work?
The rumours have been received in a variety of ways from fans and analysts alike. Some think that the Rangers are still skeptical about parting with Schneider, while others believe that Scheifele could provide an offensive spark that the Rangers Need.
As the offseason progresses, both teams are on the hunt to improve their rosters before the training camp begins.
