Jason Spezza was suspended for 6 games for what Georges Parros deemed "kneeing" and the punishment was widely criticized for being too harsh given Spezza's exemplary record.
It was quickly reported that Spezza and the NHLPA had filed an appeal of the suspension.
Up until now we hadn't heard any details on the appeal process, but it now appears the hearing will be held Tuesday before the Leafs play the Edmonton Oilers. As of Tuesday Spezza will have missed 3 of the 6 games he was suspended for and it's believed a decision won't be reached before Tuesday's game.
