Thatcher Demko, has become one of the premier goaltenders in the NHL. This season alone he's put the Canucks on his shoulders while posting a 23-16-2 record, with a goals against average of 2.59 and a .918 save percentage. But before Demko made it to the show, he was a top prospect with the Utica Comets.
During his time in Utica, Demko lived with his then teammate Jordan Subban. Yesterday on an episode of the Spittin' Chicklets podcast, Demko shared some details about being robbed at gun point. The catch? He was actually setup by his landlords son who couldn't read a calendar and gave the intruder the wrong dates.
He switched the stuff into his other arm and then he pulled a gun on me.
