Top Eastern Team Frontrunners To Sign Oliver Ekman-Larsson
A few days ago, the Vancouver Canucks bought Oliver Ekman-Larsson's contract. After the worst season of his career, he'll officially be a UFA on July 1st.
During the latest episode of the podcast 32 Thoughts, Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek talked about OEL's future in the NHL.
Ekman-Larsson with the Bruins?
The two analysts discussed the possibiliy to see the defenseman joining the Bruins.
Marek: "We've talked about various teams that have made plays for Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the past, the Boston Bruins have been on that list."
Friedman: "...and he [OEL] likes them"
Marek: "That's one of the teams I've wondered about right out of the gate here."
He may not be the player he used to be, but he can still contribute to a team by his experience and his offensive skills.
