The Hughes brothers are known for being a trio of highly talented players and some of the brightest young faces in the NHL.
Jack Hughes was the 2019 1st overall pick to the New Jersey Devils and has developed into a star posting 99 points last season. He looks primed for his first 100-point season in 2023-24.
Luke Hughes was drafted 4th overall by the Devils in 2021 and will have his first full NHL season next year. He is a Calder favorite but obviously remains behind Connor Bedard.
Finally, Quinn Hughes resides in Vancouver and was drafted 7th overall by the Canucks in 2018. He has emerged as a star posting 76 points in 78 games last year with 69 of his points being assists.
Many have speculated that Quinn Hughes could be traded to the Devils to be reunited with his brothers, including Daily Faceoff.
Recently, Daily Faceoff made a post predicting the next 10 Norris Trophy winners.
Nine of the predictions are with their current teams. However, in 2028, they predict Quinn Hughes to win the Norris trophy for the Devils.
While his current contract expires with the Canucks expires in 2027, there is a realistic chance that he winds up with New Jersey before then. There are rumors swirling that the Devils have called on Quinn Hughes' availability.
Having the trio of superstar brothers would certainly be fun to watch and would be a great marketing point.
