I have to be honest, I'm with Frank on this one. Insider Frank Seravalli has given the Arizona Coyotes a roasting after the team released a poll on Twitter.
The Poll
In it, the Coyotes ask fans where their next home should be after a proposal for a new arena in Tempe was rejected by citizens of the city. The four options listed are all in Arizona: Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Gilbert.
Seravalli Chews out the Desert Dogs
Seravalli retweeted the poll and gave it a resounding thumbs down, essentially calling it cheap.
"Is this an NHL franchise or a local Jr. B team? It is utterly mind blowing that this is a thing. The correct answer is, of course, a municipality that actually wants to have the [Coyotes] - after two have said no."
Whatever your thoughts on Seravalli, he has a point here. This is an NHL team resorting to asking its fans where they want them to play. It's an awful look for a franchise in one of the top pro leagues in the world. The poll also failed to ask whether fans would like to see the Coyotes move outside of the state, which seems like a very good possibility at the moment.
