Yevseyev Sues The KHL
It was recently revealed that Edmonton Oilers prospect Nikita Yevseyev's agent has sued the KHL in an effort to have Yevseyev's contract voided.
#AkBars Damir Zhafyarov and #LetsGoOilers prospect Nikita Yevseyev's agent Shumi Babaev has filed a lawsuit with the #KHL to terminate their contracts citing discrimination by the coach.
Yevseyev, a 6th-round pick from the 2022 draft, has split this season between the KHL and the VHL scoring 9 total points over 40 games this season.
If he is successful, he may stay in Russia and play with another team or he could come over to North America much earlier than anybody expected.
More details will follow over the coming weeks.
