Wayne Gretzky has commented on Connor Bedard's lacrosse goal and given the 18-year-old rookie some incredibly high praise.

Last night, Connor Bedard scored the best goal of his young NHL career when he pulled off the lacrosse move on the St. Louis Blues and Jordan Binnington.
After Bedard scored the goal, he got the attention of the entire hockey community including The Great One, Wayne Gretzky.
Gretzky had high praise for Bedard and stated it was something he could never do.

Only 33 games into his NHL career, Bedard already looks like a bonafide star and will likely be performing at a high level for years and years to come.
