Troy Terry is coming out of his 2nd straight 60+ point season and needs a new deal in order to play again next season.
The 25-year-old forward is currently a restricted free agent that has filed for arbitation.
With this news coming out Elliotte Friedman has reported what the two parties are offering.
With Anaheim coming in at a much lower value than Terry it will most likely end in a contract at or around the $6.25 million mark.
Terry's Production
Despite the Ducks sitting at or near the bottom of the Pacific Division for the past couple seasons it is usually hard to find the silver lining for a team in that situation.
However, the Ducks have found a really good player in Troy Terry.
The American forward exploded for 37 goals and 67 points two seasons ago scoring more goals than his previous career high in points.
Terry was a 5th round draft pick of the Ducks back in the 2015 draft and has become a top line player that is able to score 30 goals and collect 60 points in a season.
The duo of Zegras-Terry has been a bright spot for all the Anaheim Ducks fans out there and now with the addition of Leo Carlsson the future is looking bright for the Ducks.
