Those are the famous words coming from Pierre-Edouard Bellemare (PEB). Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is originally from France and prior to joining the NHL spent 11 seasons playing in his native country as well as in Sweden. He only began his NHL career at the age of 29. Despite having been more of a scorer overseas, his time in North America has been spent more as a checker on the 4th line of teams. His first three years in the league were with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Following his stint with the Flyers, he then played with the Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche, Tampa Bay Lightning and his most recent season with the Seattle Kraken. He only played 40 games for the Kraken and managed just four goals and seven points, as he was dealing with a leg injury as well as being a healthy scratch on several occasions.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has an even 700 NHL games under his belt and throughout those years he has managed to surpass the 20-point mark twice. In his 700 games, he has scored 64 goals and 138 points, with a very lovely plus/minus of +22, proving he's responsible defensively.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is currently getting in shape for the upcoming season over in Sweden as he remains an unrestricted free agent (UFA), and he's really hoping one of the NHL clubs will approach him for a contract. If he doesn't get any interest in the NHL, he may try to end his professional career in Sweden, or possibly even by playing in France.
