Noah Hanifin Shares The Only Team He Will Sign With
With a lot of demand across the NHL for defensemen, the Calgary Flames are in a position to gear up in picks and prospects ahead of the deadline. They have three defensemen in their ranks that could leave the team but one of them is gaining more traction than the others.
The Calgary Flames are barreling toward another disappointing season, continuing their underwhelming performance from the last campaign. Following the recent trade of star forward Elias Lindholm to the Vancouver Canucks, defenseman Noah Hanifin appears poised to be the next one to leave the team.
With Hanifin delivering solid performances this season, numerous teams are likely to show interest in his services. He's even disclosed what team he'd like to join long-term.
Hanifin Reveals He'd Like to Play for the Tampa Bay Lightning
It's been reported that Hanifin shared to hia agent that he'd like to sign with the Tampa Bay Lightning and remain there on the long-term.
According to Frank Seravalli:
Seravalli: I think the Hanifin camp has expressed to the Flames that he has interest in signing in Tampa eventually.

We don't know yet if Hanifin will be traded and it it will be in Tampa. But with his current deal coming to an end after the season, if the Lightning are interested, don't be surprised if the player ends up signing there next summer.
More to come.
