The Vancouver Canucks struggled in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs. After their elimination, the focus shifted to next season. With Elias Lindholm, Dakota Joshua, Filip Hronek, Nikita Zadorov, and Tyler Myers all on the verge of being free agents the Canucks have a lot of key decisions to make.
A new report from Vancouver Canucks radio host Satiar Shah reveals he believes that Filip Hronek could be the odd man out. According to Shah, Filip Hronek who is a restricted free agent could be traded before the NHL Draft begins later this month.
At the beginning of this season parting ways with Filip Hronek felt like a decision the Vancouver Canucks would never make. However, as this season continued on Filip Hronek's performance alongside Quinn Hughes dropped off and he was demoted. However, his time with Quinn Hughes has inflated his value so much he might not be retainable by the Canucks.
With the NHL Draft coming up on June 28th the Vancouver Canucks have just a couple of weeks to get their affairs in order and take trade offers if they are hoping to pull this off before Day 1. As the situation develops we will continue to provide updates.
