Corey Perry Pulls A Dirty Move On His Former Teammate
Corey Perry and the Edmonton Oilers faced off against the Anaheim Ducks last night and Perry was seen making an incredibly dirty play versus his former team.
Perry Ruthlessly Slashes Gibson's Stick
Last night, Corey Perry returned to Anaheim where he and the Oilers looked to take down the Ducks. On the back of an Evander Kane hat trick, the Oilers were able to defeat the Ducks 5-3.
However, the game did not go on without any shenanigans. When goaltender John Gibson was attempting to play a puck from behind the net, his former teammate Corey Perry came up and delivered a powerful slash that knocked Gibson's stick right out of his hands.
The refs would miss this call and Perry was able to get away with his typical antics.
In addition to this, Perry assisted on Evander Kane's first goal of the night to tie the game at 1 apiece.
With that win, the Oilers pulled closer to second place within the Pacific division and bounced back from their loss against the Vegas Golden Knights.
