San Jose Sharks terminate the contract of their leading AHL scorer Nathan Todd
This afternoon the San Jose Sharks and GM Mike Grier have announced the termination of AHL leading scorer Nathan Todd's contract.
As the San Jose Sharks move into the next phase of their rebuild they are making a series of roster moves. The move made today by Mike Grier was to place Nathan Todd on unconditional waivers to buy out his contract.
The #SJSharks have placed F Nathan Todd on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
The 28-year-old forward had a successful season with the Sharks AHL affiliate the San Jose Barracuda. In 69 games he had 19 goals and 55 points. With this news the team likely will be adding new and younger players to fill out their AHL lineup.
With his success in the AHL it will be interesting to see where Nathan Todd's career takes him next.
