BREAKING: Leafs Starting Goaltender Suffers Apparent Injury During Practice
In breaking news, the Leafs have just suffered a major setback, as this starting goaltender has appeared to go out with an injury during their pregame skate today.
Samsonov Leaves Pregame Skate After Suffering Apparent Injury
The Leafs have struggled this entire year with keeping their guys healthy, and it looks like things aren't changing. Just as star goalie Ilya Samsonov was finding his game, he appeared to suffer an apparent injury that forced him out of pre-game skate today.
Ilya Samsonov just left the #leafs morning skate after falling awkwardly while making a save. Didn't look good.
While there haven't been any details revealed on the extent of the injury, it was clear that Samsonov was experiencing some pain, enough to take him out of the pregame skate.
The Leafs will have to rely on Joseph Woll and Martin Jones if Samsonov is determined to be out for some time.
More details to follow.
