Nikita Grebenkin is better known as Mr. Paycheck lately following a hilarious interview, and he was once again front and center of another very funny one.

Since coming into the lineup due to a slew of injuries and one suspension affecting the team, Toronto Maple Leafs rookie forward Nikita Grebenkin has been making waves.

The young player has been embraced just as fast by fans for his efforts on the ice and his endearing quirky personality.

Grebenkin had an unforgettable quote during one of his first interviews as a Maple Leaf, and boy, did it ever become a quote for the ages among Leaf fans.

During the weekend, he kept the momentum going with his humour and charisma during a street interview with fans. As much as he joked about his paycheck, the heartfelt comments toward the city and supporters furthered his popularity.

"Toronto people it's nice," said Grebenkin. "Every time speak me good luck good luck."

The rookie also was quick to acknowledge the warm reception he's received from fans since joining the team, a sentiment that certainly resonates with the faithful of the Maple Leafs.

Asked about his performance in just his second game, Grebenkin delivered on his now signature catchphrase to the delight of those watching.

"A win today it's paycheck," said Grebenkin getting a big reaction from the interviewers.

As the interview drew to a close, Grebenkin thanked his interviewers before coming around full circle to share one final comment, really, his most endearing thus far, that has simply continued to draw him closer to the fanbase.

With the veteran Ryan Reaves set to return from suspension, and the team's injury woes slowly dissipating, it does remain to be seen where Grebenkin fits into the lineup moving forward. For now, though, he's making every moment in the main roster count on and off the ice.
