Sidney Crosby seen at same restaurant Marner and Berube had brunch at
Sidney Crosby was just seen at the same exact place Mitch Marner and Craig Berube were seen having a discussion last week.
Marner and Berube were seen in public in what has now become an infamous picture circulating around the internet since last week. The public meeting sparked rumors, including ones that the Leafs are actually looking to keep Marner, which is why they may have directed the two to meet in public, with hopes of them being spotted. It is a bit convoluted, but not entirely impossible.

Now some fans believe that they saw Sidney Crosby at the exact same restaurant last night. It is believed that the man on the left in the picture below is Crosby, although his presence at the establishment cannot be confirmed. Still though, it is quite strange that Crosby would be at the exact same place only days after two major Leafs personnel were seen there.
This of course, has lead to rumors about Crosby's future. It is pretty clear that the Penguins want to hold onto their face of the franchise, but it is also evident that the team will not win another championship with Crosby. General manager Kyle Dubas talked about not selling younger assets during his season exit-interview, implying that older players like Crosby could be on the move, either at the deadline or in free agency over the next couple of summers.

That being said, it would probably make the most sense for the team to trade Crosby at the deadline next season. Will that actually happen though? Only time will tell.
