Last week, Jake Walman of the Detroit Red Wings stunned the NHL world when he hit a 'griddy' following the overtime winner against the Vancouver Canucks, and less than a week later, the two teams faced off again.

Unlike other Canadian teams, the Canucks didn't respond in a ridiculous, over the top way, despite many fans calling for them to do so.
Unsurprisingly, the Vancouver Canucks seemingly had this one circled on their calendar, and left it up to veteran defenseman Nikita Zadorov to make a statement.
Nikita Zadorov mocks Jake Walman in a hilarious way
During the dominant 4-1 for Vancouver, veteran Nikita Zadorov attempted his best griddy in mockery of the young Walman.
"Zadorov mocking Walman with a little griddy action.
See? This is how you settle these things. Not with blatant cross checks to the face. With accidental high sticks and revenge dances.
Morgan Reilly has a lot to learn."
This is a perfect example of how to get back at another team without needing to go over the top and attempting to put someone in hospital, and this will no doubt be something that follows both teams for a number of years.
