Tom Wilson's Suspension Fate Is Now Known
The NHL's Department of Player Safety has determined Tom Wilson's suspension fate following a high-sticking incident involving Noah Gregor of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In a recent game between the Washington Capitals and the Toronto Maple Leafs, Wilson heavily hit Gregor in the face with his stick.
The Department of Player Safety announced that Wilson will need to attend an in-person hearing, indicating a suspension of five games or more is likely.

It was just confirmed by the Department of Player Safety that Wilson will need to appear at a hearing in personm which means that a five-game suspension is likely..

This isn't very surprising, as it isn't the first time that Wilson injures an opponent.
By giving him a longer suspension, the NHL surely hopes that he'll be more careful on the ice and won't injure players anymore.
