Arber Xhekaj Wrecks Blue Jackets Rookie Making Debut
The Montreal Canadiens are hosting the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight and things got chippy early in the game.
Xhakaj Fights Blue Jackets Rookie
After several questionable hits and a flurry of physical play, Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhakaj, also known as the sheriff, decided he had seen enough and challenged Blue Jackets rookie Dimitri Voronkov to a fight. Voronkov was polite enough to oblige but he quickly regretted it as the sheriff laid down the law on him.
Xhakaj is already up to 30 penalty minutes this season in just 7 games. He had 101 pims in 51 games last season.
