Auston Matthews Hints at Major Change Coming in Toronto
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been lighting the lamp at an incredible pace over the past few years with the likes of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander leading the way.
A change coming?
When they do score, the song that plays throughout the Scotiabank Arena has been 'You make my dreams' by Hall and Oates, and this has happened dating back to the 2018-19 season.
Now, according to Matthews, a change could be coming, and you wouldn't be surprised at who No. 34 wants to replace the classic Hall and Oates song with.
An Ontario icon
There are several famous musicians to come out of Ontario in recent years, but Matthews would love to see a change to a tune by his friend Justin Bieber, famed Ontario native and massive Maple Leafs fan.
It's not clear yet whether a change is officially going to happen, but it makes sense to keep things fresh for the fan experience, and with the average hockey fan getting younger, perhaps switching it up to Bieber could be a good thing for this team.
