BREAKING: Awful News Confirmed For 2nd Overall Pick Leo Carlsson
The 2023 2nd overall pick went down with a brutal injury and he will now be missing a bit of time with injury.
Carlsson Out For Over A Month
During the Ducks' last game against the Calgary Flames, Leo Carlsson, the 2023 2nd overall pick, was part of an awkward collision that left him injured.
The true extent of the injury is now known and Carlsson will miss out on at least a month of action.
Leo Carlsson has a grade 1 MCL tear and will miss 4-6 weeks
However, it could have been worse for Carlsson as he could have had a worse grade of injury and could have been knocked out for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old has been impressive during his first few games in the NHL posting 8 goals and 15 points through 23 games. Hopefully, he is able to make a full recovery and continue to develop into the future superstar everybody knows he has the potential to be.
