Blackhawks Head Coach Provides An Update On Bedard
Today during his media availability Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson was asked about any updates on Connor Bedard.
Richardson was able to provide an update and says Bedard is still being evaluated. Richardson says they are still waiting for swelling to decrease before making a final assessment.
Luke Richardson on whether they Blackhawks have set a recovery timeline for Connor Bedard's fractured jaw:
«No. Still just evaluating how he's doing and settling down. It's swollen, so the doctors are giving it a few days to see how it settles.»
This means as of now there is still no timetable for a return to action of Bedard. The Blackhawks will look to do their best to survive during Bedard's absence. Hopefully, for everyone who has enjoyed watching Bedard light up the NHL, he will be back sooner than later.
