In breaking news, the Chicago Blackhawks have shared on social media a video which shows who is the next to take over a leadership role.
Chicago Names Kurashev An Assistant Captain After Foligno Out
With Nick Foligno, one of Chicago's Assistant Captains, out on injured reserve due to a broken finger, the Chicago Blackhawks were without one of their leaders. Now, they have announced who will be filling that role as Philipp Kurashev is wearing the 'A' during their game today against the Flames.
Kurashev has 22 points in 32 games with the Blackhawks this season. He has been with the team since he was drafted there in 2018. We will see how long he will wear the 'A', and if it will be permanent until Foligno returns.
