The Canadiens have extended Cole Caufield to a long-term extension through the 2030s.

Cole Caufield is one of Montreal's best young stars and he will be getting paid like it. Montreal just announced the extension they were signing Caufield to.

The 8-year deal has an AAV of $7.85m per season. Caufield scored 26 goals this past year in 46 games or a 45 goal pace over 82 games.
