Quenneville Returns To The NHL
Joel Quenneville has been one of the most polarizing figures in all of hockey over the past few years. After it was revealed that Quenneville knew what was going on during the Kyle Beach scandal, he resigned from his position with the Panthers.
Today, he is going to address every single NHL GM and has already been reinstated by Gary Bettman.
Here in Chicago, where NHL general managers and coaches are conducting a one-day meeting. Also in attendance are Stan Bowman and Joel Quenneville, who will address the group at some point this morning.
In addition to Quenneville attending, GM Stan Bowman will also be in attendance. Bowman was the GM of the Blackhawks during the scandal and he also left the sport after the news came to light.
It seems as if Joel Quenneville is a primed candidate to get one of the next coaching positions that opens up considering his history of winning and how Bettman has reinstated Quenneville.
We will now wait and see what happens next and what team inevitably hires Quenneville as a head coach or even as an assistant coach.
