Perry Eyeing Return to NHL Before February
A massive update on Corey Perry has just been given by NHL insider Mike Johnson on his podcast Got Yer Back, as he stated that Corey Perry likely has several offers to play and could be back in the NHL within the next 10 days. This is much sooner than anyone had previously expected.
«It's tricky, you might have to take a leap of faith and trust that there's nothing else without actually knowing. But I still think, from what we know about sports, he will be in the NHL.»
Pierre LeBrun has also stated that there is significant interest in Perry around the league, furthering the possibility that Perry will return to the NHL this season. LeBrun believes it is likely to see Perry sign prior to the deadline on March 8th.
We will see where Perry signs, if he does, as the deadline approaches.
