The Detroit Red Wings have made many questionable moves lately, but this one might take the cake for the worst.
Red Wings Put Zadina on Waivers
The Detroit Red Wings have placed former top draft pick and prospect Filip Zadina on waivers.
Insider Elliotte Friedman first broke the news.
Zadina is entering the second year of his two-year deal. The former 6th overall pick has failed to live up to expectations thus far.
Top talents like Quinn Hughes were drafted after Detroit took Zadina, so this move looks incredibly bad for Detroit.
Maybe a team looking for a reclamation project will pick him up.
