Don Cherry has always been a proponent of old school hockey. With the Maple Leafs recent moves, he has shown his approval by putting the NHL on notice.
These three acquistions by Treliving have made the Leafs harder to play against.
Not every team has three players willing to drop the gloves over the smallest thing but now the Leafs will have each of them and they will also be able to protect the Leafs stars.
Ryan Reaves has amassed over 1,000 penalty minutes in his 828 game career. He is known as one of the best enforcers still left in the NHL.
Max Domi is also a pest with 512 penalty minutes in 581 career games. He is the son of long time Leafs enforcer Tie Domi.
Finally, Tyler Bertuzzi has only 195 total penalty minutes in his 326 game career but he tacked on 26 PIMs in only 7 games during the playoffs this past year.
With these three players joining the Leafs, they will have a physical presence that is hard to counter in todays NHL.
