The Boston Bruins are officially getting the band back together!
Just a few hours after captain Patrice Bergeron signed a one-year deal to return to the Boston Bruins, we now learn that former Bruin is making an NHL contract and signed a one year deal of his own.
David Krejci has officially signed a one-year deal with the Boston Bruins to return for another crack at a Stanley Cup.
David Krejci is back.
The Bruins announce that Krejci has signed a one-year contract worth $1 million along with an additional $2 million in performance-based bonuses.
Krejci left the Bruins at the end of the 2021 season and returned back home and played in the Czech elite league last year, where he scored 46 points in 51 games.
One of the biggest issues the Bruins had last season was their depth at center, specifically the 2nd line. With the return of Krejci, are the Bruins a legitimate threat for the cup again?
