BREAKING: Former First-Round Pick Signs in Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed a former first-round pick to add some offense to their team.
Penguins Sign White
It was just announced that the Pittsburgh Penguins have signed Colin White to a PTO.
Colin White will be at @penguins training camp on a PTO.
White played last season with the Florida Panthers where he scored 8 goals and 15 points in 68 games. White also added an additional 2 assists in 21 playoff games.
White was picked in the first round of the 2015 NHL draft by the Ottawa Senators and looked promising for them before hitting a stark offensive decline that led to a buyout which the Sens will be paying till 2028.
Now, White will look to earn a fulltime contract with the Penguins and will try to help them out with his defense and penalty killing capabilities.
