BREAKING: Gary Bettman Delays Toronto Maple Leafs Game
In breaking news, Gary Bettman and the NHL have decided to delay the Toronto Maple Leaf game tonight against the Detroit Red Wings for this reason.
Red Wings Versus Leafs Game Delayed Tonight Due to Weather
The Detroit Red Wings are taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto. The only problem is that there is a massive snowstorm running through southern Ontario and the Northeast of the USA. This storm has been enough to delay the game tonight in order to give the Red Wings enough time to travel to Toronto.
Tonight's Leafs-Red Wings game has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. -- it sounds like the winter storm affected Detroit's travel plans.
It's unclear whether or not the Red Wings take a bus or fly from Detroit to Toronto, given the short distance between the two cities. If the weather was bad enough to cancel their flight, they may be taking a bus, which would explain why they need an extra 30 minutes to make it to game time.
