Today the New York Islanders have used the waiver wire to steal a defenseman from a division rival.

The New York Islanders announced today that they have claimed defenseman Mike Reilly off of waivers from the Florida Panthers.

Reilly was placed on waivers after playing just two games this season with the Florida Panthers.
